THE FRENCH CONNECTION
The following tree shows the strong French connections established when Martin Ough Dealy married Minnie Deakin in 1957. Minnie's mother Georgette was French and traced her ancestors through her father and mother Adolph and Madeleine Demolin ( nee Guerard) to two more older generations dating from 1812 as illustrated in the tree. . Minnie's Great Uncle, brother of Madeleine Demolin was Andre Guerard whose story is featured elsewhere on this site. There were 6 other siblings of that generation.
