The extended family has produced many talented people. We can boast of skilled artists who have produced works in oil paint, water colours, pencil, charcoal, inks, acrylics. Some have exhibited their work at the Royal Academy. Some  earned high praise for prtheir portraits, miniature, botanical and landscape pianting.

Others have left their mark in architecture and engineering to design public buildings, build railways, produced intricate wood carvings, modelled  Royal navy ships. Others with inventive minds have obtained  patents for innovative machines used in industry and civil engineering projects and marine applications.

Several have turned their talents to writing and produced auto biographies, short stories, and serious books that have been published by well known publishing houses such as the Oxford University Press.

This section of the family web site presents a collection of unpublished stories and essays that are probably best described as whimsical, fanciful musings and products of over worked imaginations. Hopefully the reader will find these amusing and interesting. They can be accessed through the buttons below.
